... let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2 (excerpt)

The "N" word

No it's not what you think....it's NAP! Just mention the word to Valerie and she has a meltdown. Which is actually a sign that she really needs one. This weekend we went to Ohio for a HS Graduation. I stayed at the house while Veronica napped and Todd took the older two to the ceremony. It worked out because I was able to keep an eye on the food. Anyhow - I guess they were at the ceremony and someone asked her if she was going to take a nap afterwards. Apparently she proceeded to start crying and have a fit about it. She proceeded to take a 3 hour nap today - she needed one. Otherwise it was a nice visit and celebration. Todd's niece was in the show choir and they have a tradition of visiting the Seniors on graduation day and giving them a "send off" - a final performance. It was very cool getting to see that and see his niece perform a little bit. Glad we drove home last night - even though it was a late night, it was nice to be home today. Happy Memorial Day!
