This is about surviving the day to day and raising three girls. And the occasional musings about life and the world.
... let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2 (excerpt)

Not So Much!
A little better day, but MORE crying. This time it was Valerie upset because she wasn't getting to go play at Samantha's friends house. She just doesn't get that Samantha is almost 3 years older than her. I have game night tonight and am SO looking forward to getting away from the house for a few hours and laughing, playing and having a few beverages. Then again - with everything I've had going on and had to deal with, there is always something to remind me that my life is good.
A good friend of mine had her dad go missing Monday night. He was found last night and is okay, but over 24 hours missing had to be scary. He has had memory issues in the past, but this is the first for something this extreme. He was found 3 hours from home. I can't imagine what lies ahead of them for decisions that need to be made. Then there is my other friend who is expecting her first baby in January and they don't know what that is going to bring. He has Trisomy 13 which isn't good and they had to meet with a nurse on Monday to make all the "arrangements" for his birth. So many questions they have to prepare for...will he make it through the delivery, how long will he survive, will he get to come home at all? Again - the path they have in front of them. The best thing these two friends have going for them is their support group of friends and family and their faith in God. They have a lot of people praying for them and they gather strength from that. So - when you say your prayers tonight, keep Sandy and Beth and their families in mind and maybe a little one for me. My problems are small, but I could still use some help. Thanks so much!

You rock Sheri.
I had a bad day yesterday too...lots of tears, I think because of what Beth is going through. The kids don't understand and just give hugs. It is sweet.
You are in my prayers too.
